Job summary

Apex Engineering Group in Minot, ND (preferred Minnetonka office) seeks a Structural-Bridge Engineer to join the project team from preliminary design through construction. You will contribute to bridge and structural project plans and specifications and report to the Lead Structural Bridge Engineer, attending client and project meetings in person.

The role requires independent and collaborative work, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering is required.
• 2+ years of bridge engineering experience is required.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license is required or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform bridge engineering calculations, analysis, and design tasks.
• Independently write technical specifications, reports, and correspondence.
• Assemble plans for agencies to meet standards.
• Perform independent checking of others’ design work.
• Collaborate with technicians to complete engineering plans.
• Attend client and project meetings in person.
• Travel and overtime may be required.
