Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to our high standards. You will work with stylists, greet customers, and ensure a five-star service experience in a fast-paced bridal environment.

You’ll manage alterations, sewing, steaming, and fitting appointments, maintain room cleanliness, and collaborate with store leadership to resolve issues. Prior sewing and retail experience preferred; high standards of customer care required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty stores.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal/special occasion.
• Experience with computerized POS (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide five-star service, in person, over the phone, and online when needed.
• Assist stylists with gown fit, alterations, and customization discussions.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure quality control on fittings, steaming, and pressing.
• Process transactions accurately and support cash wrap procedures.
• Build long-term customer relationships and promote alteration services and personalization options.
