Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards. You will greet customers, manage flow, and partner with stylists to ensure the perfect gown fit for every event.

Responsibilities include handling alterations, steaming, pressing, quality checks, and maintaining a clean alterations room. Prior sewing and bridal experience are preferred, with strong customer service as a core focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers in person, over the phone, and via virtual chats with friendly enthusiasm.
• Manage customer flow to deliver a five-star experience using store systems.
• Prepare alterations, fittings, steaming, pressing, and quality checks to company standards.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain alterations room cleanliness and organization for a flawless shopping experience.
• Respond to customer questions with product and service information promptly.
