Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to deliver five-star customer service while performing fittings, alterations, and garment care. You will work closely with stylists to tailor gowns and ensure flawless presentation for events.

This role emphasizes problem solving, product knowledge, and maintaining store standards in a fast-paced retail environment. Applicants should have sewing experience, familiarity with POS systems, and a high school diploma, with retail experience highly

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
Prior sewing experience required, bridal/special occasion preferred.
Experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet customers with friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, and via virtual chats.
Assist customers with gown fit and customization in partnership with stylists.
Maintain high store standards and an organized alterations room.
Manage alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning to company standards.
Provide product and service information and resolve customer questions promptly.
Support cash wrap procedures and process transactions accurately.
