David’s Bridal seeks an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards while delivering exceptional customer service. You will work with stylists to assess gown fit, price alterations, and ensure quality control of every garment before delivery.

The role requires sewing expertise, prior retail experience, and a customer‑facing focus to create a seamless shopping experience and build lasting relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience, preferably bridal or special occasion.
• Experience with computerized POS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or via chats.
• Manage customer flow and deliver five-star service using store systems.
• Maintain store standards and perform alterations, sewing, steaming, and pressing to company standards.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Resolve customer questions and issues and escalate to leadership when needed.
• Keep alterations area clean, organized, and compliant with dress code.
