Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, delivering five-star customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will greet customers, coordinate with stylists, manage alterations room, and ensure garments are inspected and delivered pristine. Prior sewing experience and basic POS familiarity are preferred, with a focus on friendly, expert service for bridal and special occasion wear.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail apparel experience.
• Prior sewing experience required.
• POS system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and build rapport via phone, chat and in person.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and alterations.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure garments are pristine before delivery.
• Manage alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming and pressing to company standards.
• Respond to customer questions with product and service information.
• Support cash wrap duties and process transactions accurately.
