Job summary

David’s Bridal seeks an Alterations Specialist to deliver high-quality fittings and alterations with a friendly, knowledgeable approach. You will assist customers in-person, by phone, or chat, promoting alteration services and ensuring flawless results.

Responsibilities include guiding customers through the alteration process, coordinating with stylists on gown fit, and maintaining the alterations area to brand standards. Prior sewing and POS experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience preferred, bridal or special occasion preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or via chat.
• Assist customers with gown alterations and fittings to ensure perfect results.
• Explain alteration options and price structures; promote services.
• Coordinate with stylists to support sales and fit customization.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of alterations area.
• Process transactions accurately at the POS and handle pickups.
