Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards. You will welcome customers in person, by phone, and online, and partner with stylists to ensure gowns fit perfectly for special events.

The role emphasizes five-star customer service, problem solving, and maintaining the alterations room and inventory. Prior sewing experience and POS familiarity are preferred, with a strong team mindset and brand adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience, preferably bridal or special occasion production environment.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person, adapting style to suit customers through problem solving.
• Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver a five-star experience.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting with customers regarding gown fit and customization.
• Maintain alterations room clean and organized, ensuring pristine condition before delivery to customer.
• Resolve customer service issues promptly in alignment with company guidelines.
