Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to deliver high-quality fittings and alterations, while providing exceptional customer service. You will work with designers and stylists to ensure gowns fit perfectly and align with brand standards.

The role involves handling multiple customers, operating POS systems, and maintaining a clean alterations area. Prior sewing experience and bridal/party experience are preferred, with a focus on a friendly, solution-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person.
• Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting with customers regarding gown fit and customization.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure garments meet company standards.
• Resolve customer service issues promptly following company guidelines.
• Support cash wrap behaviors and process transactions with accuracy.
