Job summary

David's Bridal seeks an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service. You will support stylists on gown fit, maintain the alterations area, and uphold pricing and quality control per company standards.

Responsibilities include welcoming customers, managing fittings, sewing, steaming and pressing garments, resolving issues promptly, and contributing to five-star service in-store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of retail apparel experience.
• Prior sewing experience, preferably in bridal or special occasion fits.
• Experience with computerized POS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or virtually, and adapt style to suit customers by problem solving.
• Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star customer experience.
• Maintain service levels by staying prepared, welcoming, and meeting both emotional and practical needs.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at once and contribute to five-star service goals.
• Address customer concerns confidently and know when to partner with leadership.
