David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to deliver high-quality alterations and exceptional customer service for bridal and special occasion gowns. You will assist customers with fittings, explain alteration options, and collaborate with stylists to ensure perfect dress fits.

The role involves managing the alterations space, maintaining quality control, and delivering a memorable shopping experience in a store setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal or special occasion preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, and via virtual chats.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and alterations.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure garments meet quality standards before delivery.
• Provide expert alterations, fittings, steaming and pressing within company standards.
• Deliver five-star customer service and resolve issues promptly according to guidelines.
• Manage inventory and ensure accurate processing of special orders and pickups.
