Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to the high standards of the brand, delivering friendly, knowledgeable service across in-store, phone, and virtual channels.

You will greet customers, book fittings, consult on gown fit and customization with stylists, and maintain the alterations room and inventory, ensuring pristine garments at delivery. This role requires sewing experience and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal and/or special occasion preferred.
• Prior experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with alterations scheduling.
• Consult on gown fit and customization with stylists.
• Perform alterations, fittings, steaming and pressing to high standards.
• Maintain alterations room and inventory, ensuring pristine garments.
• Provide product and service information and resolve issues promptly.
