Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to our high standards. You will be part of the store team, delivering friendly and knowledgeable service while maintaining brand integrity.

You will support alterations, sewing, steaming, and spot cleaning, assist with dress customization, manage multiple customers, and help ensure a flawless shopping experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal or special occasion production preferred.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm and adapt communication style to solve problems.
• Manage customer flow to deliver five-star experience using store systems.
• Maintain service levels per Dress Code and brand standards.
• Provide exceptional alterations services, fittings, sewing, steaming, and finishing of garments to high standards.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Keep alterations room clean and organized and ensure quality control before delivery.
