Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a skilled operations manager to oversee daily functions of physician practices across multiple locations. You will supervise staff, manage budgets and monitor key financial metrics and revenue cycles.

The role also focuses on patient satisfaction, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance, working in collaboration with physicians and leadership to achieve organizational goals. Frequent travel to practice locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in physician practice management
• Experience managing multiple sites is preferred
• CPPM (Certified Physician Practice Manager) certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of the physician practice(s), including front and back office functions.
• Supervises staff, interviews, hires, trains and conducts performance evaluations.
• Develops the practice budget with the director and monitors financial metrics including patient volumes and revenue cycle processes.
• Monitors patient satisfaction reports and addresses patient complaints to meet standards.
• Contributes to quality and performance improvement by monitoring metrics and addressing deficiencies.
• Collaborates with physicians and leadership to achieve organizational goals.
• Ensures regulatory compliance across the practice.
