Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator for Cox Fleet to coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are maintained and repairs completed promptly. Work hours vary to provide 24/7/365 service.

You will assess open events, assign the nearest service provider, confirm authorization, communicate ETA to customers, and report delays to supervision. A high school diploma or GED and 3 years dispatching experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of dispatching experience, preferably in breakdowns or tire/medium-to-heavy duty maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations to ensure prompt maintenance and repairs.
• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch events.
• Assign the nearest and appropriate service provider and inform the customer of ETA.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or problems with ETA or repairs.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
