Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator to help maintain 24/7/365 service in Omaha, NE. You will assess events, dispatch the right service providers, and communicate ETA to customers while coordinating with supervisors.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with relevant dispatch experience in heavy duty maintenance, plus strong multitasking skills and a commitment to customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years in dispatching for breakdown/tire in medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance, or equivalent experience.
• A strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization has been obtained to dispatch the event.
• Assign the nearest service provider to make requested repairs.
• Advise the customer of ETA and follow instructions.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or repair problems.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
