Job summary

Cox Automotive's Cox Fleet is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator to help sustain 24/7 service coverage in the Oklahoma City area. You will assign events, verify authorization, and dispatch the nearest service provider while keeping customers informed of ETA.

This role requires dispatching know-how and multitasking in a fast-paced automotive environment. Training begins November 2, 2026, with varied shifts including evenings and overnights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of dispatching experience in breakdown/maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.
• Alternative: 5 years of related field experience if no diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization has been obtained to dispatch the event.
• Assign the appropriate and nearest service provider to make requested repairs.
• Advise the customer of the estimated time of arrival and follow instructions according to their requirements.
• Inform supervisor on duty of any delays with the service provider's estimated time of arrival or problems with repairs.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
