Job summary

Macy's in Lynnwood, WA is seeking an Ambassador to connect with customers, suggest items, and upsell while sharing vendor knowledge.

You will drive sales by building a loyal client base, coordinating vendor and non-vendor events with leadership, and ensuring the sales floor is inviting and well signed.

This role expects flexible availability including weekends and holidays; prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail or sales experience required.
• Ability to greet customers, understand needs and upsell.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers and peers.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience with the customer as priority.
• Greet customers, make product recommendations, and upsell.
• Serve as liaison between vendors, personal stylists, and store leadership.
• Ensure the sales floor is neat, signed, and merchandise is presented well.
• Create and implement best practices to drive sales, turns, and gross margin.
• Build brand-specific clienteling to support local marketing.
• Plan and execute vendor and non-vendor events to increase sales.
• Lead customer-facing vendor events with vendor partnership and goals in mind.
• Be proficient with Macy's POS systems and company devices to wrap up sales.
• Foster an inclusive environment strengthening relationships with colleagues and customers.
