Job summary

Macy's in the United States seeks an Ambassador to connect with customers, share vendor product knowledge, and upsell while building a repeat clientele. You will communicate customer needs to leadership and vendors and drive merchandising initiatives for the brand area.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships and convert customers into clients.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Minimum 1 year selling or retail experience.
• Comfortable with computers, mobile devices, and RF equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience with the customer as priority.
• Greet customers, make product recommendations, and upsell.
• Liaise between vendors, personal stylists, and store leadership.
• Keep sales floor neat with proper signage for sales and markdowns.
• Plan and lead vendor-sponsored events to meet sales goals.
• Be proficient with Macy's POS systems to complete sales.
