Job summary

Virginia Credit Union is seeking a Universal Branch Representative to combine teller work with member service duties. You will build member relationships, cross-sell VACU products, and ensure accurate cash handling and daily balancing.

This role supports branch sales strategies and delivers an exceptional member experience. The position requires notary certification and adherence to enterprise policies, with ongoing training in BSA, OFAC, and Information Security.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Customer/member service experience, preferably at a financial institution.
• Cash handling or related financial institution experience.
• Knowledge of TCD transaction and settlement procedures.

Responsibilities

• Establish member relationships and cross-sell VACU products/services.
• Handle transactions accurately and balance cash drawer daily.
• Open memberships and deposit/loan accounts; provide referrals to MSR.
• Answer member inquiries in person and by phone with professional service.
