The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree or equivalent banking experience, demonstrated leadership, and the ability to motivate a team while achieving sales

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year college education or equivalent banking experience.
• 3 years of platform banking experience or 5+ years in related areas (banking, business development, or financial services).
• Supervisory experience or completion of Trustmark's Development Associate training.
• Ability to meet sales goals in a retail banking environment.
• Proficient with basic computer skills and internal technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch growth through sales, referrals, deposits, and loans.
• Conduct sales calls and customer meetings.
• Process loan applications and manage loan portfolio while ensuring compliance.
• Ensure branch marketing materials comply with regulations and policies.
• Direct staff to improve sales, service, and operations and manage risk.
• Hold productive branch meetings with emphasis on market share and profitability.
• Interview prospective employees and mentor, train, and coach staff.
• Manage scheduling, appraisals, cash handling, and audits.
