Job summary

Rexel USA, Inc. in Pasadena, TX is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the branch mission and daily operations, acting as manager in the absence of the branch manager. You will oversee inventory, safety, personnel, and customer service while driving profitability.

Responsibilities include coaching associates, maintaining branch metrics, scheduling coverage, and coordinating deliveries. A strong background in sales/ops within electrical distribution is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• Previous sales, operations, electrical distribution, or similar B2B industry experience preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• If required to make deliveries: Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years
• High School or GED - Required
• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive profitability by utilizing company digital tools to maximize all aspects of branch performance.
• Develop, train, and supervise associates.
• Greet and assist call-in and walk-in customers with the selection and delivery of products and services.
• Conduct/oversee inventory control procedures and warehouse housekeeping practices.
• Schedule branch staff to ensure daily coverage.
• Assist Branch Manager with monitoring branch operating expenses and implement corrective actions.
