Job summary

Rexel USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Miami to support daily branch operations and drive profitability. You will work with the Branch Manager and team to manage inventory, customer service, and deliveries, ensuring branch performance and safety standards are met.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience, forklift certification preferred, and a valid driver’s license if deliveries are required. High school diploma or GED is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience
• Previous sales, operations, electrical distribution, or similar B2B industry experience preferred
• Leadership experience preferred
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred
• If required to make deliveries: Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire
• Must not have had a suspended driver’s license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years
• High School or GED - Required
• 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Work Hours: 8am - 5pm
• Work with the Branch Manager and branch personnel to drive profitability by utilizing company digital tools to maximize all aspects of branch performance
• Develop, train, and supervise associates
• Recognize personnel problems and take corrective actions as needed
• Deal effectively with daily customer service issues
• Establish and maintain a relationship with key customers
• Greet and assist call‑in and walk‑in customers with the selection and delivery of products and services
• Conduct/oversee inventory control procedures and warehouse housekeeping practices
• Implement branch security and safety standards by conducting facility and asset inspections and take corrective actions to support controls
• Participate in inventory control and advise Branch Manager of problems to ensure customer demand is met
• Maintain branch facility, warehouse, and office equipment
• Schedule branch staff to ensure daily coverage
• Assist Branch Manager with monitoring branch operating expenses and implement corrective actions
• Make deliveries to branches/customers as required
• May be required to perform other job functions within a branch when required including but not limited to counter sales, preparing and filling orders and/or receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material, and maintaining branch equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned
