JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager-Operations in Morristown, NJ to lead daily branch operations and coach associates. You will partner with the Branch Manager to ensure strong client experiences and compliance with banking regulations.

You will guide associates, manage staffing, and maintain secure operations while delivering hospitality and a welcoming, community-focused branch environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of management or retail banking experience.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred qualifications include 1+ years as Associate Banker (Teller) and a college degree or military equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage and inspire Associate Bankers to deliver seamless service while coaching them on policies, procedures, products and banking transactions.
• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to create a welcoming branch atmosphere and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Greet clients warmly, build trusted relationships, and ensure exceptional client experiences.
• Strategically plan staffing to meet client needs and keep the team aligned with branch priorities.
• Oversee loss control, compliance and audits to ensure smooth and secure branch operations.
• Engage clients with clear communication to anticipate needs, resolve issues, and refer to specialists.
• Promote self-service options to simplify banking for clients anytime.
