Job summary

Chase in Morristown, NJ seeks an Assistant Branch Manager-Operations to lead daily branch operations, coach Associate Bankers, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional client experiences. You will partner with the Branch Manager to maintain a welcoming environment and drive performance while upholding bank policies and procedures.

The role requires 2+ years of management or retail banking experience, flexibility for weekend/evening hours, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management or retail banking experience
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and evenings
• High school diploma or GED (or foreign equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Manage and inspire Associate Bankers to deliver seamless service, coach policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to ensure a welcoming, high‑performing branch.
• Greet clients warmly and build trusted relationships.
• Plan and manage staffing to meet client needs and branch priorities.
• Oversee branch operations including loss control, compliance, and audits.
• Engage clients with clear communication and resolve issues promptly.
• Promote self-service options to customers.
