Job summary

Bank of Hope in La Habra, CA is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee branch operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will supervise tellers and staff, monitor workflows, and manage cash operations.

Collaborate with the Branch Manager to drive process improvements, staff development, risk management, and branch sales goals while maintaining a customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of banking experience and three years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with banking systems and basic computer applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Additional Languages: Korean preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational functions of the branch, ensuring compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and support tellers and branch staff in managing the day-to-day branch operations.
• Monitor workflows to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
• Ensure proper cash management, including vault operations, ATM balancing, and branch cash levels.
• Conduct periodic audits and reviews of operational processes to maintain compliance and minimize risks.
• Mentor team members and assist Branch Manager with staffing decisions, scheduling, and performance management.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to develop strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Actively contribute to branch sales goals in collaboration with BM and PBO.
