Job summary

Columbia Bank is hiring for an on‑site branch role in Dallas, Oregon. You will supervise tellers, support daily operations, and drive Breakthrough Client Service. The position involves opening accounts, processing loans, and cross‑selling services while coordinating with the Branch Manager.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, with banking experience and some leadership shown. A Bank MLO designation and mortgage knowledge are required or expected to obtain.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in banking, business, or related field preferred.
• 2 years of retail banking experience required.
• 1 year of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• 1 year of consumer and small business lending origination experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure branch meets or exceeds operations standards and audits satisfactorily.
• Monitor sales goals and coach colleagues to deepen customer relationships.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with consumers and businesses in the community.
• Act as back up to personal banking team to open accounts and process loan requests.
• Manage, lead, train, and coach Tellers and possibly oversee personal bankers.
• Process tasks like opening/closing the branch, overdraft monitoring, wire transfers, and collections.
