Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller to join our Dallas, OR location. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, cash handling, and routine banking transactions with accuracy and discretion, while upholding Breakthrough Client Service Standards. Working with Branch leadership, you’ll identify client needs and refer suitable products, strengthening relationships and trust. This on-site role emphasizes detail, compliance, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, balance drawer).
• Maintain branch operations accuracy (ATM, night drop deposits, negotiable instruments, lobby rate sheets).
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping money and prompt transfer of funds.
• Engage with clients to understand needs and provide proactive solutions.
• Deepen knowledge of Columbia Bank products and services; refer appropriate products to the right partners.
