Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union seeks a personable teller to greet members, process account openings and maintenance, and provide information about SECU services in a fast-paced branch environment.

The role requires accuracy with cash handling, balance responsibilities, and strong communication and teamwork skills to serve a diverse member base in Delaware. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle cash accurately and reconcile at end of shift.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Solid basic math and numerical accuracy for transactions.
• Ability to educate members about products and services and refer as needed.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and respond to their needs or direct to appropriate person.
• Open new accounts and process changes to existing accounts.
• Balance cash drawer, vault, ATM, and coin sorter with accuracy.
• Operate drive-thru window when needed and maintain daily records.
• Assist with cash deliveries, shipments, and daily reconciliation.
