Job summary

SECU seeks an attentive Member Service Associate to provide exemplary service across all delivery channels. The role includes handling new memberships, account openings, and everyday banking tasks with accuracy and courtesy.

You will educate members on services, process transactions, balance cash and vaults, and support drive-thru operations while maintaining professional, confidential interactions with a diverse member base.

Responsibilities

• Handle establishment of new membership, open all accounts, and process changes in accounts.
• Educate members on available services and make recommendations based on their needs.
• Key all required transactions into the Margo system and balance cash drawer with accuracy.
• Balance the vault, ATM, TCD and coin sorter.
• Operate drive-thru window as needed.
• Keep daily and monthly records of vault control, returned checks, Visa gift cards, and related reports.
• Prepare, order, and verify cash delivery and shipment weekly.
• Assist members with account problems and reconciliations.
• Grant advances on existing credit lines after consulting with an approving officer.
• Answer phones, file paperwork, and scan documents into the Image System.
