Job summary

SECU is recruiting for a member-focused teller to greet customers, open and service accounts, and handle daily cash transactions. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and professional communication in a busy branch environment.

The position involves educating members on services, balancing cash, and supporting drive-thru operations as needed. Training in other branch areas may be provided to broaden skills.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cash and member transactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in basic computer tasks.
• Must speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and handle establishment of new membership, open accounts, and process changes.
• Educate members on available services and make recommendations based on needs.
• Enter transactions into the Margo system and balance cash drawer.
• Balance the vault, ATM, TCD and coin sorter.
• Operate drive-thru window as needed.
• Maintain daily and monthly reports: vault control, returned checks, Visa gift cards, theme park tickets, forgeries, coin sorter.
• Assist members with account problems, reconciliations, or errors in transactions.
• Answer phone, file paperwork, scan documents, and perform clerical duties.
• May begin training in other areas of branch operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
