Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union in Cary, NC is seeking an Associate Member Services Representative to provide member service by phone and in person, handle routine branch tasks and assist with account origination and maintenance.

The role includes training on core modules, learning CXone, and collaborating with other departments to fulfill member requests while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and a professional, courteous service mindset.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred – Bachelor’s degree, or CCUE Certification, or Associate of Arts degree or Associate of Science degree via the North Carolina Community College Transfer Program (NC-CTP).
• Aptitude for meeting people and developing member confidence, respect, and trust in the Credit Union.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must complete the Credit Union’s Core Module Program within 12 months of hire date as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary member service by responding to inquiries in person, by telephone, and via digital channels.
• Perform routine branch duties including cash box management and balance a cash drawer.
• Assist with account origination and maintenance.
• Learn CXone and support MSS as requested.
• Balance vault, ATMs, teller cash dispenser, and coin sorter.
• Process wire transfers and foreign currency transactions as needed.
• Maintain daily records and support documentation for reports.
