As a member of the leadership team, you will plan, direct, and optimize branch operations, supervise staff, and drive policy improvements in a union environment while delivering measurable results for Harford County and beyond.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze data to inform organizational decisions.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing staffing levels for large teams to fit business needs.
• Excellent customer service experience and people skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to input and implement changes to policy and procedure.
• Desire to act as a public servant delivering premier customer service.
• 3+ years of leadership experience (Assistant Manager) or 5+ years (Manager) in fast-paced, customer-focused settings.
• 2+ years of experience working in State or Federal Government.

Responsibilities

• Planning, leading, directing, organizing, and overseeing assigned branch operations, audits, compliance, and premier customer service.
• Working with employees to solve problems for customers.
• Plans, assigns, schedules, and evaluates the work of subordinate supervisors, driver license agents, customer agents, maintenance, and support staff.
• Acting as a change agent within the MVA.
• Developing workflow efficiencies.
• Working in a union environment.
