Job summary

Maryland Department of Transportation’s MVA seeks a dynamic Branch Manager II to lead field operations and drive premier customer service. This executive service role operates within Anne Arundel County and participates in leadership decisions that shape transportation operations across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis, leadership, and people skills, with a proven ability to manage large teams and implement policy changes while serving the public.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Three years of experience managing operations in a retail-banking branch or related governmental transportation/ regulatory organization.
Three years of supervisory experience including processing licenses, vehicle titles/registration, or related functions.

Responsibilities

Plan, lead, direct, organize, and oversee branch operations, audits, compliance, and premier customer service.
Work with employees to solve customer problems.
Plan, assign, schedule, and evaluate work of subordinate supervisors and staff.
Act as a change agent within the MVA and develop workflow efficiencies.
