Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union in Acton, MA is seeking a Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations, drive sales, and deliver outstanding member service. You will coach the team, manage performance, develop community partnerships, and handle lending workflows including mortgage origination and Notary services.

You’ll promote self-service, optimize processes, and ensure compliance while guiding staff through growth paths and budget goals.

Qualifications

• Two to three years supervisory and sales management experience.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of Word, Excel and email.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned branch sales goals and develop sales strategies.
• Coach staff to deliver service excellence and meet sales targets.
• Manage staff performance and conduct regular reviews.
• Oversee branch operations with policy compliance and cost control.
• Respond to member complaints promptly.
• Build partnerships with local businesses and SEGs.
• Open memberships and accounts; provide Notary and Signature Guarantees.
• Obtain Mortgage Loan Originator authority and originate mortgages.
• Promote self-service and identify process improvements.
• Promote lobby to ensure a positive member experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
