Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a flexible, customer-focused associate to support multiple branch locations across Massachusetts. You will identify member needs, educate on products, and help members achieve financial goals while processing memberships, accounts and loans with accuracy.

You will also handle teller transactions, perform audits, and ensure compliance with policies to minimize risk, with travel to nearby branches as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years related experience.
• Verbal Communication skills.
• Technical skills (Word, Excel, Email).
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify the financial needs of members by building rapport and cross-selling appropriate products and services.
• Open new memberships, accounts and loans using guidelines and self-service options; conduct Notary Public services.
• Obtain Lending Authority, process loan requests and verify documents before closings.
• Process teller transactions and assist with end-of-day balancing and ATM balancing.
• Conduct audits of membership applications and loan files.
• Follow DCU policies and security procedures to limit risk and fraud.
