Job summary

The Penske Maintenance Coordinator role focuses on managing branch inventory and administrative processes to support maintenance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability. You will oversee inventory productivity, coordinate parts ordering, and ensure timely updates in PartsNet.

This position also handles process analytics, warranty coordination, and collaboration with the branch team to drive performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, degree preferred
• Interpersonal and relationship building skills with an ability to collaborate with branch team members
• Competent written and verbal communication skills
• 2 years+ experience in customer service and operations experience required
• 2 years working in service and parts department preferred
• Agile and quick learner, enjoys collaborative projects and continuous education
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening are required

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch inventory productivity and reduce inventory loss
• Order parts with Centralized Parts Ordering to maintain optimal stock levels
• Receive, store, and track parts; update PartsNet and perform cycle counts
• Manage new and used battery inventory and tire stock
• Shipped warranty items and coordinate with warranty department
• Coordinate with Customer Service to schedule repairs as parts become available
• Provide vendor support and ensure correct payments and accountability
• Support branch financial manager to improve profitability
• Complete projects assigned by Branch and District Financial Managers
• Maintain schedule and adherence to hours (Mon-Fri 7:00 am - 3:30 pm)
