Job summary

Penske's Newark, OH location seeks a Maintenance Coordinator to manage inventory and administrative processes across branch operations, with focus on maintenance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

You will oversee parts inventory, coordinate with Centralized Parts Ordering, perform cycle counts, support warranty items and service scheduling, and work with Finance to improve branch performance. Strong Excel and ERP familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• Interpersonal and relationship-building skills for collaboration.
• Competent written and verbal communication.
• 2+ years in customer service and operations.
• 2+ years in service and parts department preferred.
• Agile and quick learner, collaborative projects, continuous education.
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance required.
• Willing to travel, work at the required location, and pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory productivity at the branch(es) for timely service support and minimize loss.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels by ordering parts with central ordering daily.
• Receive and store parts; update PartsNet; perform cycle counts; ensure availability.
• Manage battery and tire inventory; ensure correct quantities and specs.
• Ensure warranty items are shipped timely; follow up on returns/warranty-grams.
• Partner with Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs as parts arrive.
• Provide vendor support and ensure payments are processed correctly.
• Perform process analyses for Inventory, profitability, cycle counts, and RO reviews.
• Use ServiceNet or AS400 for problem solving and process improvement.
• Support branch financial manager; contribute to performance and profitability; handle projects.
