Job summary

Emser is seeking an experienced Inside Sales professional to drive contractor business from the Nashville branch. You will greet customers, provide expert product information and respond to client concerns, serving as the first contact between clients and Emser.

You’ll support counter sales, manage account activity, and coordinate samples while upholding merchandising standards. Required are 3+ years in sales with strong communication skills and the ability to build contractor relationships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales and customer facing experience.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Uphold professional appearance.
• Ability to build relationships with contractors in the branch.
• Understand and decipher sales metrics and reports.
• Inventory management experience with basic math skills (cycle counts, pricing/margin, quantity square feet).
• JD Edwards experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive all contractor business in branch.
• Provide accurate and expert information; be responsive to customers.
• Be the first point of contact between the client and Emser.
• Assist customers at the counter alongside the Customer Support Representative.
• Build sales in branch by explaining product knowledge and identifying needs.
• Participate in sample design and creation when needed.
• Provide samples to trade accounts and walk-in clientele; support merchandising standards.
