Job summary

Emser Tile in Rancho Cordova seeks a Branch Inside Sales Representative to drive contractor business. You will greet customers, answer phones, and provide expert product information as the first contact for customers in the branch.

You will assist at the counter with the Customer Support Representative and manage account selling by prioritizing high-potential accounts. Collaborate with management to grow sales, participate in sample design, and provide samples to trade accounts and walk-ins.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales and customer facing experience.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Uphold professional appearance.
• Ability to build relationships with contractors in the branch.
• Inventory management experience with basic math and test skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer phones promptly and maintain a friendly environment.
• Provide accurate product information and respond to customer concerns.
• Serve as first point of contact for Emser customers in branch.
• Assist customers at the counter alongside the Customer Support Representative.
• Manage account selling activities and prioritize accounts with sales potential.
• Develop and implement plans for longer term sales cycles.
• Partner with management in weekly meetings to identify goals.
• Participate in sample design and provide samples to trade accounts and walk-ins.
• Build branch sales by explaining product knowledge and identifying needs.
