Job summary

Emser-Tile in Las Vegas is seeking a Branch Inside Sales Representative to drive contractor business and deliver outstanding customer service at the counter and over the phone.

You will maintain product knowledge, support account selling, build relationships with local contractors, and collaborate with management to grow sales while upholding Emser's brand standards and merchandising guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales and customer-facing experience.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Ability to build relationships with contractors in the branch.
• Understand and decipher sales metrics and reports.
• Inventory management with basic math (cycle counts, pricing/margin).
• JD Edwards experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive all contractor business in branch.
• Provide accurate and expert information; be responsive to the concerns of all Branch customers.
• Be the first point of contact between the client and Emser, with strong product knowledge.
• Assist customers at the counter alongside the Customer Support Representative.
• Manage account selling activities by prioritizing accounts by imminent sales potential.
• Develop and implement plans for longer term sales cycles.
• Build sales in branch by explaining product knowledge and identifying customer needs.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings to set goals and strategies.
• Provide samples to trade accounts, referrals and walk-in clients as needed.
