Job summary

Cathay Bank in California is seeking a Customer Service and Sales Manager (Sales) to lead branch customer service, support sales goals, and ensure operational integrity. You will supervise Relationship Bankers and Operations staff, promote a service-driven sales culture, and collaborate with Branch/Relationship Managers on onboarding and product setup.

The role emphasizes staff development, regulatory compliance, and cross-selling opportunities, with potential to register as an Mortgage Loan

Qualifications

• Three to five years' experience in a similar capacity with management/supervisory responsibilities.
• Thorough knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
• Direct sales experience desired.
• Computer experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Bi-lingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with bank personnel and clients delivering quality service.
• Profile customers during new accounts to identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Develop and track sales production goals; coach staff to meet objectives.
• Establish and manage team and individual sales targets.
• Collaborate with Branch/Relationship Managers for onboarding plans and product setup.
• Support business development and marketing activities to drive branch growth.
• May register as Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) based on need.
• Represent the bank in community and professional activities.
