Job summary

AmFirst seeks a member-focused professional to assist both members and non-members with a range of financial services, including new accounts and loans. You will ensure accurate postings, maintain records, and promote products to meet goals.

The role requires 2+ years in new accounts and lending, a high school diploma or GED, and NMLS registration. Notary services are provided, along with potential trainings and representation at partner events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with new accounts and consumer lending.
• High school education or GED.
• Must be able to maintain life insurance and NMLS registration.
• Must be able to utilize various electronic systems to obtain and enter information.
• Must demonstrate strong public contact and communication skills.
• Must be current on teller, new account, and lending services.

Responsibilities

• Assist members and non-members with general to complex financial transactions and loan inquiries.
• Post transactions and loan requests accurately and timely; maintain records per policies.
• Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Conduct audits of system information and member documents.
• Act as liaison between members and various departments.
• Represent the credit union in business partner visits and civic functions.
• May train other employees in daily responsibilities.
• Provide notary services and medallion stamps to members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
