Job summary

First Financial Credit Union is seeking a Full Time Member Service Representative at our Montclair branch to help members with accounts and loans, cross-sell services, and support branch operations. The role emphasizes service, accuracy, and teamwork in a busy, educational-community oriented environment.

You will work with members on new accounts, consumer auto and real estate loans, and assist with back-office processes while upholding regulatory compliance and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent. College degree preferred.
• Two years of prior banking experience or at least six months in New Accounts and Consumer Loans; real estate experience optional.
• Minimum six months of customer service and cash handling experience.
• Ability to work weekends and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide information on all Credit Union accounts, services and products; cross-sell as appropriate and meet sales targets.
• Interview members to obtain documentation for loans and open accounts; process disbursements and loan packages.
• Assist with audits, resolve member issues, and handle DMV paperwork if needed.
• Perform clerical duties and support branch operations; back-up teller as required.
• Open/close accounts, verify balances, and participate in online training modules.
