Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Banking Associate to join our Massachusetts branch team. You will identify customer needs, offer trusted financial advice, and build lasting relationships by delivering tailored solutions for spending, saving, borrowing and investing.

You’ll use digital tools and in-person interactions to guide customers, collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking, and proactively schedule checkups to help customers reach their goals.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to ask questions and identify customer needs.
• Proven success building relationships and referring products.
• Experience using digital technology to support business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with teammates and partners.
• Self-motivated, confident and able to multitask.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends/evenings.
• Meet SAFE Act requirements and pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Face of the branch, provide trusted advice and build customer relationships.
• Offer recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions.
• Guide customers to digital/mobile banking and ATMs.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule checkups.
• Follow all financial policies including cash handling and regulations.
