Job summary

Citizens Bank is hiring in Massachusetts for a customer-focused role that helps clients with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs. You’ll use strong communication to provide tailored financial solutions and introduce digital banking tools.

You’ll work with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams to meet diverse client goals, while making outbound calls to grow the customer base and schedule financial checkups. The role involves cash handling and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions.
• Help customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Introduce digital and mobile banking to customers (app and ATMs).
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
• Follow all financial policies and procedures including proper cash handling.
