Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Branch Banker in Alabama to build relationships through proactive service and personalized banking solutions. You will drive sales, open accounts, and assist customers with a range of financial products in a busy Walmart-anchored branch.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours. You will support digital tools and maintain compliance while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• Prior in-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions.
• Achieve individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach inside/outside the branch.
• Explain complex banking solutions in simple terms to customers.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts and consumer loan products with accuracy and compliance.
• Deliver Woodforest Experience through warm, personalized customer interactions.
