Job summary

Woodforest National Bank seeks a Branch Banker to drive retail customer growth and deliver the Woodforest Experience at AL Montgomery locations. You will engage customers, explain banking products, and provide friendly, efficient service in a busy branch.

You will handle teller duties, account openings, and daily operations while upholding Woodforest Core Values of Ownership, Service, Community, and Integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• Prior in-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for delivering strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate banking solutions.
• Act with accountability in achieving individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach both inside and outside the branch.
• Demonstrate ownership in resolving customer inquiries or concerns at the first point of contact, utilizing internal partners as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate transaction processing, account opening, and consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to explain complex solutions in a simple to understand way.
