Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Alabama seeks a Branch Banker to build relationships with customers and deliver the Woodforest Experience through proactive service and product recommendations.

You will engage customers to understand financial needs, explain products clearly, and support digital tools while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance. This full-time role requires flexibility to meet branch demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience
• In-store retail banking experience preferred but not required
• Demonstrated willingness to accept coaching and feedback
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Woodforest Experience by creating warm, welcoming, and personalized interactions with every customer.
• Understand financial needs and clearly explain retail banking products, services, and digital solutions.
• Perform branch servicing duties including teller transactions, cash handling, balancing, ordering cash, vault activities, audits, ATM servicing, and workspace upkeep.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts and consumer loan products with accuracy and compliance.
• Follow branch security procedures and adapt to additional retail duties as needed
