Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Saraland, Alabama is seeking a Branch Banker to deliver the Woodforest Experience by providing warm, personalized service and banking solutions at every customer touchpoint.

You will build relationships, promote products, handle teller tasks, and support community engagement while upholding Woodforest’s core values of Ownership, Service, Community, and Integrity in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail sales or customer service experience.
• Retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for delivering strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate banking solutions.
• Achieve individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach both inside and outside the branch.
• Resolve customer inquiries at first point of contact, utilizing internal partners as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate transaction processing, account opening, and adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Explain complex solutions in simple to understand terms.
• Deliver the Woodforest Experience with warm, personalized interactions.
• Engage customers to understand financial needs and clearly explain banking products and digital solutions.
• Support community events, outreach activities, and in-store promotions that align with Woodforest’s community-focused mission.
